Meet STUDIO NIMMERSATT, an award-winning architectural lighting design consultancy nestled in the heart of Bali. Founded in 2021, the studio was born from a vision to bring independent, design-led lighting consultancy to Indonesia.

In 2019, Rara Rina moved from Berlin to Bali after spending over a decade working across Singapore and Germany. Following two years as a freelance lighting consultant, she recognised the growing need for dedicated architectural lighting design expertise in Bali. This inspired the creation of Studio Nimmersatt—a studio driven by curiosity, creativity, and a belief that light has the power to shape how we experience architecture.

The studio quickly gained recognition for its thoughtful, refined, and contemporary approach to lighting design. Soon after, Daek William joined the practice, bringing his artistic background and over 15 years of experience as a visual artist in Perth, Australia. His passion for visual storytelling complements Rina's technical expertise, creating a collaborative design process that balances creativity with precision.
